Travel, First Words, and Crawling - Oh my!

It's been some time since my last post and so much has been happening! I took my first day trip away from home for work on March 13 - flying to New York and back the same day - woof! - and it was quite the experience. I was worried about having to pump in the airport but luckily managed to do it twice in our corporate office downtown and avoided the dreaded public display of pumping.

Charlotte is finally recovered from her bronchiolitis - she was coughing for about two weeks and had to be put on antibiotics. Unfortunately my mom caught her illness while up here helping me take care of her! Poor Birdy. Charlotte says, "Feel better soon, Birdy!"

Her babbling has taken form into her first real word "Dada"! Of course I was hoping for "Mama" but I guess we'll have to wait for that one! Charlotte still likes to put her fingers in my mouth and pinch my arms, which is adorable during the day, but slightly annoying at 3 a.m. I am just enjoying her being a baby as much as possible - because time is literally flying and before I can blink she'll be a toddler walking around chasing after Bruiser!

Charlotte loves to laugh now - and her laugh is just so darn cute. There is something so pure about a baby's laugh and I can't get enough. Watch this video if you need a dose of cuteness: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OcameSUuzFk&feature=youtu.be

She also has an ear for music already. She loves music of any kind and loves to bang the keys on my keyboard at home.

At the beginning of March Charlotte had started scooting backwards and if you turned your head for just a second she'd be in a different place. As of last night at 7:30 PM she's officially started crawling forward. Can we say babyproofing?!

More videos and photos to come soon! :)
